Parkridge Medical Center named one of America's 100 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades

Parkridge Medical Center has been ranked in Healthgrades Top 250 hospitals for five consecutive years.

Chattanooga, Tenn. — Parkridge Health System is proud to announce that Parkridge Medical Center has been named one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for 2026 by Healthgrades, placing it among the top hospitals in the nation for overall excellence.

In addition to this national distinction, Parkridge Medical Center also earned the America’s 250 Hospitals Award for the fifth consecutive year (2022-2026), highlighting the hospital’s consistent commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

“This recognition from Healthgrades highlights our continued commitment to delivering exceptional, high-quality care to our community,” said Chris Cosby, president and chief executive officer of Parkridge Health System. “Earning a place among the top 100 hospitals nationwide is a direct reflection of the excellent care our physicians and colleagues provide every day.”

The achievement from Healthgrades places Parkridge Medical Center in the top 2 percent of hospitals nationwide for overall clinical performance. Healthgrades evaluates hospitals based on clinical outcomes and quality measures, awarding top-performing institutions with recognitions that highlight their excellence in patient care and safety.

Parkridge Medical Center was also recently named one of Healthgrades’ America’s 50 Best Hospitals for surgical excellence and vascular surgery, along with receiving the Stroke Care Excellence Award. Additionally, the hospital was recognized by Healthgrades as one of America’s 100 Best Hospitals for gastrointestinal care, gastrointestinal surgery and pulmonary care.
