Donna was born in Kalispell, Montana. Upon graduation from high school she attended Faulkner State CC in Bay Minette, AL. She held a scholarship as the campus mascot for two years after which time she transferred to the University of South Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from USA.
